| Gort | I noticed a tag on some prowler trailers. Tennessee doesn't require a tag on a trailer unless you pull it out of state. Do trailers in your state require a tag for instate use? I saw Texas and Ohio tags. Tennessee tags are $24 ,not sure about a trailer tag,I've never bought one. This message has been edited by Gort on 10-29-2014 at 06:26 PM |
| alrtg | Until a few years ago I was under the impression that all trailers required tags but learned some states don't require them unless pulled out of state. Talk about a lost opportunity for recurring revenue. |

Most state tax is from Sales tax.We have one of the highest ,but out of state people help pay our taxes.No state tax. |

Antique tags are a one time fee of $18, but you're limited on where they can be used....parades,meets,clubs,etc. |

| derosaj | In Michigan you buy a trailer plate for $75.00 which is good as long as you own the trailer. When you sell the trailer the new owner has to buy another one. |
